Fitness Class

Basic group fitness classes led by an ALFA Strength and Conditioning Coach. Classes can be catered to the specific demands of the teacher in order to achieve curricular outcomes. Programming can include movement fundamentals, running technique, basic weight lifting techniques as well as functional exercises with the big tire, battle ropes, power boxes and prowlers.

Olympic Lifting and Explosive movements

The fundamentals of Olympic lifts are taught by an ALFA Strength and Conditioning Coach. The classes can be catered to focus specifically on Olympic lifting or broadened to other explosive movements used in training. Classes also include how to properly warm up, activate the correct muscle groups/nervous systems that will be utilized throughout the class.

"How to" Classes

“How To” classes are geared to teach students how to workout properly in the gym. This includes proper warmups and activations for different workouts. How to properly use equipment and spot a partner properly. The class can also get into the progression and adaption of different exercises for the specific goals of your workout and program. “How To” classes can also be geared to running and moving properly. Running techniques and Change of direction progressions are taught to show students how to progress through drills to build a foundation for movement.
