ALFA| In - Season training Program

The ALFA| In Season Training Program is the dedicated to maintaining what was initially built in the off-season. It also aims to reduce the risk of injury through specific exercises targeted at the shoulders, ankles and knees.

You will be exposed to scientific phased based programming that will allow your body to develop in the most effective way possible while keeping you explosive for the season. Standards and expectations will be set to 100 as this program progress throughout the 9 weeks. Programs are designed by our in-house Sports Scientist in combination with our numerous Strength and Conditioning Coaches.

With the years of experience working with University & Professional Athletes, you know you will be getting the best program Calgary has to offer. Our philosophy has not only been to get you Bigger, Faster & Stronger; but also to keep you safe and healthy in the weight room and on the field. This is achieved by programing specific exercises and movements that focus on prehab and mobility. This will not only help with increasing your overall speed, strength and power, but will help reduce injuries.

Program details:

The program will be 1 x a week with sessions running on Saturdays from 10:00 - 11:30 AM.

Each session will be 1 hour and 30 minutes and will consist of a dynamic warmup, speed development, a lift dedicated to maintain strength, size and power as well as a mobility period led by the ALFA Strength Coach.

We strongly believe that this program will help athletes stay competitive, stay on the field as well as reduce physical drop off we typically see throughout any given sporting season.

TESTING

You will undergo initial baseline & post program testing. This will be coupled with weekly weigh ins and emotional/stress check ins. These tests are conducted to put you and keep you on the right track for success.

Testing will consist of the following:

-20 yard dash
-Shuttle
-Broad jump
-Bench
-Height
-Weight
-Measurements

At the end of the program, athletes will be send an overview of their progress made throughout the program. The overview will consist of the data collected form the tests and check ins above, so attendance is a must.

Pricing Note & cancelation policy:

Although pricing is on a monthly schedule, the program is priced on a session by session basis. Our cancelation is as follows:

Refund's will be dispersed within the week of the cancelation. Program refunds due to cancelation with be half the remaining sessions in the program. For example, if your athlete has 6 sessions remaining in the program you will only be refunded for 3 of those 6 remaining sessions.
